I’ve spent months exposing councils that have paid billions to recruitment agencies since 2020.

So naturally I asked some government departments the same question.

How much did you spend on recruitment agencies last year?

They refused to answer.

❌ Ofsted

Apparently taxpayers are expected to fund these organisations…

…but not know where the money goes.

Councils with just a few thousand employees are spending tens of millions.

The Home Office and DWP employ around 150,000 people between them.

Whatever the figure is, they clearly don’t want the public seeing it.

That’s fine.

I’ll keep digging until I get it.
