@TorontaFreaky@theavrecord I mean there is currently no evidence towards that. If it comes to light that there was reasonable fear for his life by that isn’t so currently
@TorontaFreaky@theavrecord 1. It’s a track competition
2. Going into the opposing team tent and refusing to leave is needlessly confrontational.
3. Concealing a knife and saying g “touch me and see what happens” is provocation
4. This isn’t a race issues it’s stupidity by a teen that ruined 2 lives
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr Go read the released statements and the video that was just viewed today.
I don’t have a dog in the fight. It’s sad because one kid is dead and the other is going to end up in jail for a long time instead of both in college living life. It was unnecessary to stab the kid
@5050lil_twin@MegynKellyShow@AshleighMerchan 1. It’s a very safe school. I’ve actually been there.
2. He went into the opposing teams tent and when asked to leave, said touch me and see what happens while concealing a weapon that’s nuts for a school yard scuffle
3. Got shoved and then stabbed him in the heart.
@Feed_Da_Block@theavrecord No man that’s irresponsible these high school kids in a wealthy school district. There’s no reason to be stabbing each other over an argument.
Race has nothing to do with it. This is too 17-year-old boys should’ve been a scuffle at worst.
@TorontaFreaky@theavrecord These are high school kids nobody should be getting stabbed kids get a scuffles kids get into fights. No one should be getting killed.
@Trecee82728@CourtTV They walked underneath their own teams tent… kids get in the stupid fights all the time, but stabbing over this was not reasonable
@jtriv3rs98@FrontlinesTPUSA@Savsays I have had multiple conversations with people that this issue shouldn’t even be on race. It should just be on a kid should bring a knife to school and stab another kid and the amount of messages I got from black people threatening to kill me has been absurd.
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr Naw man. That’s ridiculous. No kid should be bringing a knife to school and that is a very wealthy safe school I’ve been there before. That’s the problem ppl putting blinders on for race. Killing over a school yard scuffle is not reasonable.
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr Well that’s not accurate.
Anthony: entered other team tent, sat in their chairs,
Metcalf: told him to get out it’s not their team tent
Anthony: “try to make me and see what happens with hand in bag on concealed knife”
Metcalf : goes to grab shirt and is stabbed in heart
@LoLoByke It appears the defense didn’t have an issue with the jury selection. Not a race issues imo
High school teen, goes into an opposing high school teens tent during competition sits in their chairs, challenges them to move him and then stabs one in the heart ❤️ he’s going to jail
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr He wasn’t punched he wasn’t choked and nobody else knew he had a knife and then he STABBED the other kid in the heart .
Absurd .
He was at a very wealthy safe school
he didn’t even know these boys.
They never met him before,
he went into their tent.
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr You’re talking about kids. I played three sports a year, if someone from the opposing team came into our tent, sat in our chairs of course you tell them to leave you’re competing. This not professional security angle is ridiculous. They’re all kids. Preemptively brought a knife.
@paradiseTacoma@CookSumthin@youngdonforvr Plus, the kid challenge them to “touch me /move me and see what happens” knowing he had a knife in his hand in the 💼 bag.
Who’s gonna run and be a tattletale when somebody challenges you let’s be realistic 99 times out of 100 that’s not happening
