One of the biggest problems we’ve solved this season is “The Konate “ problem. He caused us so many issues last season which in effect affected a lot of players both in defence & midfield. With Jacqurt we will concede goals but not like last season & he’ll score more goals.

@thisisanfield Where’s is that 17/18 years old who can walk straight into the first team like Owen, Fowler, Gerrard? Now even at 22/23 they’re still not good enough for the first team. We have to send them on loan or ended up selling like Tyler Morton.

@thisisanfield So whose fault is that really? The academy for not coaching them properly or they’re just not good enough to make it at such levels. There’re lots of Liverpool born kids in the academy but they just don’t have desire and characteristics to make it like Gerrard & Carra

@DeanNunn1 What my African got to do with this? It’s pathetic statement to make and sounds bigotry. Secondly not 95% of teams play with 2 players #6. Saying the #6 role is no longer in the game doesn’t sound like someone who watches football the ground.

My frustration is more so on the academy. How is it possible that we cannot produce a #6 after all these while we’ve been talking about this position since klopp took over? We have to rely on other clubs to make them and we go and spend £100+ instead of us making them for £0.

@DeanNunn1 Bro this Liverpool midfield is by far the weakest in the premier league. You don’t need to be the best player in the world to be in this midfield. Any decent player who can sense danger & is able to win tackles can play the #6 role. He was just not good enough for premier league.

@DeanNunn1 None of these names you mentioned are actually real ready to play In that #6 position right now as a first choice in the premier league and champions league. We’re producing them but it’s not high quality premier league ready. Morton had to be shipped elsewhere.

@Corballyred Bro you’re wired tho. It’s called competition and strength in depth. Is that not what we’re being crying about? Playing 3 games in a week is surely going to give players enough games time to maintain high quality performances every game rather than what we have now. Be positive

@LeeTurn71 Every position in football is a specialist position. It’s about spotting young players across the globe with the physical characteristics and nurture them to that specific style of play as they do in France. TAA was not a RB he was nurtured to playing there. It’s pure neglect.
