Eleanor Donaldson has made a miraculous return from her fragile state which declared her unfit to stand trial. She managed to visit her husband & Co-accused in Maghaberry on Thursday. She was prioritised over other visitors while there, why is this?? @naomi_long@NIPrisons ?
A woman paid for Amazon Prime for 5 years before she realized she was using it wrong.
She'd ordered hundreds of packages. Watched a few shows on Prime Video. Never once looked past the "Buy Now" button.
Her cousin — who worked Amazon customer service for 3 years — was staying over for the holidays and watched her order a phone charger at full price.
She finally said: "Wait — can I see your account for a second? You're missing 9 things that come with the Prime you're already paying for. Amazon doesn't advertise most of these. They'd rather you not use them."
She changed 9 things in 10 minutes.
She saved $340 that month. Got a package a day early. Found $1,200 worth of stuff she already owned buried in a benefit she'd never opened.
Here's everything her cousin showed her:
I’m really crying cause this is the funniest and cutest thing I have seen all year! I can’t wait for this stage of life! Put your babies in sports!!!❤️🥰
A semi state company, the ESB, who made €650m profit last year,
Is putting up the cost of electricity.
This is despite Ireland having the 2nd most expensive electricity prices in the world.
Ireland has the second highest electricity prices in the world.
And today electricity prices are going up again.
One million households will pay up to €300 more for annual energy bills as costs rise from today.

NIAMH UÍ BHRIAIN on the millions given to woke and pro-immigration NGOs this week:
"Another day, another pile of taxpayer cash doled out to groups who push an agenda that has little support from Irish people - while we can't pay our electricity bills."

This is the shocking moment an 80-year-old woman was deliberately blocked on the stairs at a Tube station by a man who refused to move, despite her clearly needing the handrail for support.
The woman calmly explained that she wanted to get up the stairs, but instead of showing basic decency, the man continued filming and told her not to touch him. It was obvious as well she needed to hold on to the handrail for support as well which makes it even more disgusting behaviour from this cretin.
When he smugly told her to “go round,” she replied: “I can’t.”
He snapped back: “You can, you’ve got legs.”
When she told him she was 80 years old, his cold response was simply: “So?”
Just let that sink in.
What has happened to basic manners, respect, and common decency in this country?
There was once a time when people were taught to respect their elders, help those less able, and show simple courtesy without hesitation.
Now you have to ask, have we lost that completely.
What’s your reaction to this story?
Does anybody give a flying f@!k what this waste of space has to say about anything. Other than giving an explanation about what really happened in Washington before he "stepped down" I couldnt care less.
A Reform-led UK government that seeks to “double down on Brexit” could act as an “accelerator” towards Irish reunification, Leo Varadkar has said.
Varadkar added that he considered a Reform-led government a “possibility” rather than a “probability”.

A man of Roma ethnicity found to have become aggressive with a charity shop worker after he tried to get a refund for an allegedly faulty printer without actually having the item with him has lost his discrimination claim.
“Not getting your own way, having forcefully demanded it, does not indicate discrimination,” adjudicating officer Lefre de Burgh wrote in a decision published today.

A note to BBC Good Morning Ulster for reading out an Irish republicans text about Jeffrey Donaldson and media reporting.
The difference with reporting on what Sinn Féin figures knew about cases linked to republicans was that the party had covered up the abuse. The DUP did not.
Gerry Adams covered up his father's abuse by giving him a full republican funeral.
He then covered up his brother's abuse of his niece for years.
He knew about my case and when it hit the public domain, he denied ever speaking about the abuse and lied through his teeth.
He knew about Paudi McGahon's case because he received a letter from his TD years before it went public.
When Michael McMonagle was arrested for abuse, Sinn Féin press officers gave him a glowing job reference.
When Niall O'Donnghaile was sending inappropriate pictures of himself to a child, the party lied about the child's age and Mary Lou Mc Donald gave him a glowing public reference.
And that does not even begin to scratch the surface of the IRA "investigations" into over 60 cases of child abuse which they ensured didn't make it to a criminal court, by covering up for the perpetrators by moving them around.
And still Sinn Féin back those who covered for perpetrators instead of standing with victims.

More than €100 million spent on medical cards for Ukrainians 🇺🇦 💰
How many Irish people needed a medical card and couldn't get one under Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil governments.
The Irish are treated like second class citizens again.
This humiliating clip is the pinnacle of this Irish Senator's career. I hadn't really heard of Ruane in a long time until it emerged via @WIRED that she was invited to the Peter Thiel shindig in Ireland next August.
What on earth could she usefully contribute? 🤔
On the one hand the Irish government says they want to be sure people are getting their information from trusted sources. On the other hand when they're asked for official information they outright tell us we can't have it. That is ludicrous behaviour.
What he doesn't say is that being refused the right to reside isn't really a thing in Ireland. So it is essentially an open door to the world. We don't keep track of those we've ordered to self deport. Then NGO's push for further amnesty like Helen McEntee's escapade, nullifying any alleged refusals and granting status to those who refused to follow our systems.
In any social contract your nationality is the defining factor in terms of your access to positive rights of that nation. I can't go to Australia and claim social welfare, they make a point of not granting entry to anyone without work and proof of funds. I'd still have the protection afforded by all negative rights, but I can't just land there and claim all the benefits, that's an obvious pull factor that would quickly destroy an annual budget. This used to be common knowledge, because it's rhetorical after any amount of thought. People are being wilfully ignorant on the matter.
