The Ibos are using the Yoruba buts to seize political power in Yorubaland, aiming to dominate. According to them, anyone who refuses to back their expansionist plans is a traitor and coward who deserves fierce public condemnation. They don’t want to accept that they’re just dot.
Ibos means of survival:
Run to Yorubaland
Marry Yoruba
Wear Yoruba attires
Claim Yoruba foods
Sing in Yoruba
Rewrite Yoruba history
Compare themselves to Yorubas
Defame Yoruba leaders
Denigrate Yoruba culture nd then claim victim when the Yorubas call them out.
Rinse and repeat.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State to attend the Coronation of HRM Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan.
Currently watching Bon appetit Your Majesty, a Korean drama.
And I'm just imagining if we had a similar story about a Royal Kitchen in a Yorùbá setting.
Did we have people in charge of royal dishes? What unique ingredients did we discover? What did Kings eat? How come Yorùbás used to eat mushrooms a lot but it's no longer a major part of our diet. How did some recipes like ekuru, Akara, etc get discovered?
These are some of the untold stories we could be exploring with film. Culture and history is so much more than war, there's how people lived, how they ate, loved, partied etc.
Looking forward to seeing more diverse historical stories likes this in Yorùbá film in the future.
