GPhC made their announcement for #provregs on exam results day, @the_pda call on employers to support all exam candidates on 29th April.

Next week will be the 1st time the exam is sat in an entirely different format - there's an additional layer of anxiety added to the mix.
Yes, every year prior to this has had 3 attempts. But no year has been like this year.
Can you please consider this @TheGPhC?
Many #Provregs have been on the pandemic front line in pharmacies. We also want to remind the sector that many resitters have too (in non-pharmacist roles). And since last Summer, the too often "forgotten" cohort of the 20-21 #prereg have also been there. We’re proud of them all.
The @prof_standards have issued a statement about
@TheGPhC registration exams. We continue to support our members and reiterate our request that an attempt next week should not be counted as one of the limited number of attempts allowed. #provreg#prereg https://t.co/qQVQqzWMmt
#GoodLuck with the examinations!
You are the Cohort of 2020 and will always be remembered for your contribution to the response to the pandemic, your professionalism, resolve and dedication. We will continue to support you in every step of your career.
All the best, the PDA team.
Urgent action is needed by the GPhC to retain credibility of the online registration assessment. The latest issues have left many exam candidates with little or no confidence in the arrangements and wondering what else may go wrong. https://t.co/lXZr5Grc5E

@KyraPharm@aman22788093@TheGPhC@the_pda @RPSScotland @BPSA Increase the attempts to 4... because for people not sitting march it's only fair. Especially for people that have had to withdraw due to issues with booking!!! And the online system is new whenever they decide sit #increase attempts!!!!!!!!!! Please listen @TheGPhC
We have released an open letter to all registration assessment candidates preparing to sit in March. We wish you all the best of luck with the upcoming assessment. Read it here: https://t.co/JnIxlRLhoZ
...that the regulator agree to @the_pda members call for the March 2021 assessment, the first ever online, not to count towards their three attempts to pass. This alleviates some of the pressure going into the assessment and mitigates the high stakes for those on a final attempt.
@aman22788093@the_pda@TheGPhC I think it’s time for some people at @TheGPhC to take responsibility for a series of poor decisions and step down. I radio don’t understand how some people get to these positions and still show a complete lack of insight.
Have you read it yet @TheGPhC?
GPHC: Clocks off for the weekend, ready to watch six nations.
Prov reg: Worrying for the whole weekend, filled with negativity, mentally frustrated.
Sort yourself out @TheGPhC !!!
Worst regulator ever
@the_pda@rpharms@BPSA@prof_standards
Currently Pre-registration pharmacists pay:
@TheGPhC Pre-reg fee £142
@TheGPhC Exam fee £182
And a @TheGPhC Registration fee £257
£581 before they have earned a penny as a pharmacist
As a gesture of goodwill and compensation, will @TheGPhC be waiving the exam fee?
Given the volume of comments about @TheGPhC management of the 2020 prereg exams, we thought it helpful for us to share this reminder. @prof_standards are the body that formally review and report to government about the performance of health regulators, such as GPhC and PSNI.
@TohidMPharm@the_pda@TheGPhC Thank you. We have sent feedback to the PSA, so hopefully some accountability will be acknowledged. I just don’t understand how a professional body can get away with treating people so poorly and this is the organisation we are having to work under once qualified.
