March 20, 2022 | Belgrade, Serbia: witnessed @mondohoss600 create history by becoming the first person to vault over 6.20m.
September 15, 2025 | Tokyo, Japan: witnessed @mondohoss600 create history by becoming the first person to vault over 6.30m.
🐐 Tokyo
As someone who's always stressed on wanting to do his best in each meet, I reckon Neeraj will be pretty satisfied with that result.
He'll also be happy for Julien Webber, who much like him, has long been around that 90m mark
Mission accomplished.
#PARIS2024 you delivered & how.
- Brought magic back
- Created iconic stadiums
- Lit the stadium atmosphere
- Made French police smile
- Stopped French bitching & talking politics
Thankyou for being the most marvellous host.
Season's Best at the main competition of the season. His 2nd best throw ever. Little more one can ask from Neeraj Chopra, who is now India's most successful individual Olympian.
Super ⭐ and more than anything, a gem of a human.
Neeraj Chopra : Double Olympic Medalist
Diamond League debut for Kishore Jena, who'll take the field at Doha on May 10 alongside @Neeraj_chopra1 and other top throwers for his season opener.

Can't stress on #4 enough!
Sport isn't (and shouldn't) be the only thing one does, irrespective of how talented one is!!
The value of a *real* degree to ensure a meaningful life post sport is criminally underrated and not talked about enough.
TJ here, is the best case in point
Questions I usually get asked about this-
1. NO he is not going to get US 🇺🇸 citizenship
2. He’s going to get the best training and exposure for FREE
3. Will represent India 🇮🇳 after he is done competing at Florida
4. Gets a college degree
5. No need to reinvent the wheel 🫠
Splendid first for India and as always, couldn't happen to a nicer individual :)
So happy @ArifKhanskier could get the support he needed from this point 👇and continues to fly the tricolor with his performances post Beijing!
Major props to teams IIS, SBIG https://t.co/JnlzsZYboP
#ICYMI, India won a FIRST EVER Gold medal at the FIS International Ski Races, courtesy #TeamIIS' Arif Khan. 🥇⛷️🇮🇳
Khan, who is a part of the Institute's SBIG Winter Sports Programme, improved on his earlier 3rd place finish, by winning the Slalom event at Ski Dubai.
Congratulations, Arif! 🎉

➡️ Decision taken by the IOC Session.
🔹 Five additional sports have been added to the Olympic programme of the Olympic Games
@LA28. They are:
🔸Baseball/softball
🔸Cricket (T20)
🔸Flag Football
🔸Lacrosse (sixes)
🔸Squash
#IOCMumbai2023
The 141st IOC Session votes in favour of the LA28 sports package. Baseball/softball, squash, flag football, Lacrosse AND T20 cricket are now officially part of the LA 2028 Sports Program.
Also, with India's intent to host the Olympic & Paralympic Games now public, and obvious concerns/cynicism natural, as opportune a time as any to bring this back from 6 years back👇🏾👇🏾

Didn't hear it so don't know what exactly @Abhinav_Bindra said, but reading a lot about his comments about why India should not potentially host the Olympics. #Thread on why I respectfully disagree (1)
Had my own little moment while the country was looking at #IndiavsPak
Massive day for the Olympic Movement in India and feel privileged to have been a part of it 🇮🇳
To sum up: there's a lot of arguments to be made about wasting resources, but if done in a sustainable, systematic and well-planned way, hosting the Olympics may actually do more good to India and Indian sports than one may think (ENDS)
@Shant_Tanu Thanks Shantanu, appreciate the feedback 6 years later :) But yeah, in hindsight, looks like we're progressing quite well!😀
Guess what's common between the 3 countries ahead of India at the Asian Games table?
