Anger boiled over in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi district after residents alleged that a newly repaired road was built using substandard materials. In a dramatic protest caught on video, villagers were seen digging up the road surface with their bare hands to demonstrate what they claimed was poor construction quality.The incident took place between Barmaain and Kakarbai villages under Garotha tehsil in Jhansi district. The nearly 6-kilometre-long road is reportedly being repaired at a cost of several lakhs of rupees.
