@scottmpetri Ha ha my sentiments exactly!! I was IN Cambodia and still couldn’t put down the book to look around. But like you, I don’t remember finishing the movie. Such a shame. What was wrong with it? It followed the book but I felt little sympathy for the characters.

@scottmpetri And another thought on “First they killed my father” I was riveted by the book (which I read when I was in Cambodia) but I thought the movie was a little dull.

@scottmpetri Just the first episode. The melodrama was a bit too exaggerated for my taste and there were serious problems with the historic accuracy. I should continue to watch it, though. What did you think of it?
