Sex-based categories aren’t an arbitrary preference. They’re based on the biological differences that affect running performance. That’s precisely why male and female age-grading standards differ.

And spare us the invented requirement for policing everyone’s sex. Parkrun already relies on self-declared ages without demanding proof from every participant.

You’re demanding endless justification for women wanting Female results to represent females, while treating gender identity as the unquestionable default.

Why should women and girls have to justify having meaningful Female performance classifications in the first place?

Calling it a “preference” doesn’t make the underlying biology disappear. And calling it “inclusion” doesn’t answer the fairness question…

All of a sudden because a bloke jumped into a tiger's enclosure and was killed by the captive animal it seems social care in the UK is now "broken" and people shouldn't be concerned about the tiger. Jesus, just let it be. It's a tragedy the guy was killed and a tragedy that tigers are kept in captivity. Is it ok to think both things? Let the people do the investigation.
