Carol Vorderman, "Do you know that there have been more Conservative MPs who have been booted out of Parliament for reasons like sexual misconduct, than there have been cases of voter fraud?"
Ros Atkins, "2 million people don't have voter ID.. Gov says voter ID protects against election fraud but since 2018, there have been only 9 convictions and 6 police cautions. We're left with a balance between fraud and not voting"
Why is the Conservative party taking away people's right to vote, by insisting on voter ID, when there have been more Conservative MPs booted out of parliament for sexual misconduct than there have been cases of voter fraud?
Quite a few of these egg masses washing up at the moment - they're often mistaken for litter but are the egg collars of necklace shells. Advice is that they should either be put back in the sea or buried in sand close to the water's edge. Each contains thousands of eggs.
A time capsule of litter picked up last night, exposed by shifting sands. The Tesco carrier bag is from 1997, coincidentally the year of the Lego spill. Inside were empty bottles of Southern Comfort and Tia Maria, coffee, Philadelphia cream cheese, potato salad and the remains of old cans, mostly rusted away.
A Wiltshire scene, standing on Beacon Hill looking across to Oliver's Castle hillfort at a similar spot to where Richard Burton and John Hurt stood in the movie "1984". Even though these two photos were taken almost 40 years apart, it's interesting to see how the trees have hardly changed at all #Wiltshire
