@marxar @ryanattar If this father has chosen to go low carb for his daughter that should be explained. There are so many misconceptions out there that this clip adds fuel to that fire. We eat well and balanced with a fantastic HBA1C, I won’t deny my child an ice lolly 🙄

Massively carb heavy! in fact I would doubt by adding a bit of sugar would actually change the carb count of that dessert by much🙄 my daughters HBA1C has been in the low 40s the past 4 years by eating well and not denying

@ryanattar This came across very badly and only increases the stigma about T1. If this man chooses to go down the route of low carb then fair enough but that should have been explained. It only fuels the stigma around type1

@ryanattar That dessert is still massively carb heavy? my daughter has a well balanced diet I don’t have deny, her HBA1C has been in the low 40’s the past 4 years. She can have an ice cream with friends, an ice lolly at a BBQ.
