Trading in my laptop for loppers. Excited to steward this special space & collaborative planning to conserve it for our kids. Always a writer, now with more dirt under my nails. #SilvoorSanctuary

@R_C_OConnor @tomkimmerer @dryspikesedge @fireregimes Thanks for the connection, Rory! I’m loving this Great Basin - Midwest synergy. Miss working out there yet finding community & much to do here in the Ohio River Valley

[Amanda BB @amandabbphd]

@R_C_OConnor @tomkimmerer @dryspikesedge Thank you for this helpful answer. Goat on a rope made me giggle - I’ve been spending too much time with my 7yo son! Would love to learn how to work with goats, period. Some say they won’t eat lesser celandine but it started popping up here the first week of Dec & I need help!!

[Amanda BB @amandabbphd]

@R_C_OConnor @tomkimmerer @dryspikesedge Would love to learn how to work w a goat on a rope 😆 Until then we have plenty of deer in SW Ohio. Maybe y ppl don’t discuss planting ground cover after HS cuts? Not much talk of mulching + planting (due to steep slopes & $$?) Main rec is to leave cuts as obstacles & nutrients

@hnw2 Birding! 🦩

[Amanda BB @amandabbphd]

@hnw2 @miabirdsong Our little lane is tightly knit around puppy play dates, annual block parties & a woodland wildflower sanctuary overlapping our backyards. There are no fences in the woods… We’re building community by hacking invasive Amur honeysuckle out & hosting wildflower walks each spring.

Hey Sheep Tweeps! @hnw2 and I are kicking off a fun PhotoVoice project - Sheep and Shepherds in the 21st Century! If you raise sheep, we want to hear from you! Where do sheep fit in the modern world?

DM me for details!

[Amanda BB @amandabbphd]

@hnw2 No, and I would expect the same from old caver friends too

@greenwoodae Also asked family to stop posting pics of my kids years ago… some didn’t understand why, even complained about it. Now they get it.

[Amanda BB @amandabbphd]

@greenwoodae Active account since 2004, quit logging in around 2017, 2018? Need to delete fb but don’t want to log in to do it & see all those notifications 😱 but I won’t get sucked back in. Don’t miss it at all. Still connected w ppl the ol’ fashioned ways, and here 🙃

@blackforager Came here this morning to find the mushroom people for my 7yo who had the time of his life in Red River Gorge over the weekend. “Some mushrooms for me” (shared w artist’s permission 🙂)
