Another story time? ☕😂
It’s funny how the internet has decided that if you teach a skill you’re good at, you must not actually be good at it.
No one questions a fitness coach for coaching.
No one questions a piano teacher for teaching.
But if you’re a trader who teaches…
“There has to be something you’re missing.”
And eventually I realized I wasn’t missing information.
I was drowning in it.
I was following too many traders.
Learning too many strategies.
Looking at too many timeframes.
Trying to force trades that weren’t there.
I spent countless hours staring at charts…
Digging
Digging
Digging
Trying to figure out where the “magic” was.
Because I knew people were making money doing this.
I just couldn’t figure out what they knew that I didn’t.
There were so many times I told myself:
“I can’t keep doing this.”
“I’m just digging us into a deeper hole.”
Especially after losing trades.
Especially when money was already tight.
But every time I opened my charts, there was this little voice saying:
“There has to be an answer here.”
We tell ourselves it’s too late.
That this is just how it is.
That wanting more is somehow selfish.
It isn’t.
The same freedom you want for your
daughter?
You’re allowed to want it for yourself too. 🤍
It’s interesting isn’t it.
We will move mountains to give our
daughters a better life.
Better opportunities.
More options.
A future that isn’t limited by someone
else’s schedule or someone else’s
paycheck.
But when it comes to ourselves?
We settle.
My favorite thing about our trading system
is how semi-passive it is!
Because this wasn’t always my reality.
I used to spend hours on the charts.
Waking up at 5am…
sometimes even 4:30…
just to be ready before the market opened.
It was a shift in focus.
I stopped asking how to make more money…
And started paying attention to how I was showing up every day.
Was I being disciplined?
Was I being patient?
Was I forcing things or actually following a plan?
Most people won’t agree with this…
But chasing money is the exact thing that’s keeping you stuck for years.
I used to think if I just worked harder, learned more, found the “right” strategy… everything would finally click.
But instead, I just felt more stressed.
More pressure
More overthinking
More second-guessing every decision
And trading made that even more obvious…
Because it reflects what’s going on internally whether you like it or not.
What actually changed things for me wasn’t a new strategy.
They’re learning the skill before the world has the chance to convince them there’s only one way to earn a living.
Before anyone tells them their time has a fixed price.
Before anyone makes them feel like freedom is something you earn after 40 years of hard work. 🤍
Most women discover trading after years of burnout.
After the long commutes.
After the Sunday dread.
After realizing the paycheck never quite matches the sacrifice.
My daughters won’t have that story.
• showing up daily
• following the same process
• trusting the long-term outcome
Because trading isn’t about one trade.
It’s about what happens over time.
In Part 4, I’ll show you my favorite secret that changes everything! 🤍
The real edge in trading isn’t your strategy…
It’s your consistency.
Doing the same thing…
Over and over…
Even when it feels boring.
Even when you don’t feel motivated.
Even when results aren’t instant.
Most people don’t fail because they picked the wrong strategy…
They fail because they don’t stick to anything long enough!
They quit too early.
They switch too often.
They chase faster results.
But trading rewards something different:
discipline.
That’s why I focus on:
I need you to hear this. 👇
There is no age where this stops being available to you.
No point where it’s officially “too late.” No season of life where this skill stops working.
The market doesn’t know how old you are. It just moves. And you can move with it. 🤍
