The Vatican has officially declared environmental destruction a ”sin against creation and the Creator” in a major new doctrinal text.

The 29,000-word document, titled Caring for Our Common Home, elevates ecological concern from a merely political or scientific issue into a direct matter of personal faith.

Authorized under Pope Leo XIV, the text declares that destroying natural habitats, polluting, and exploiting resources are not just civic failures, but a 'sin against creation and against the Creator' that directly violates God's plan.

This shift from Pope Francis' earlier concept of 'ecological sin' to a more explicit 'sin against the Creator' is designed to reshape how believers view their daily environmental impact. The Vatican emphasizes that failing to safeguard the planet severely harms the poorest populations and future generations, distorting the core relationships that define humanity. By placing ecological action squarely in the realm of moral responsibility, the Church is challenging millions of people to treat environmental care as a fundamental requirement of their faith.

🚨Aid coalition chief: Israel blocks wheelchairs, prosthetics, watermelons, and fresh produce from entering Gaza

Athena Rayburn, executive director of the Association of International Development Agencies, which represents more than 100 humanitarian and development NGOs operating in the occupied Palestinian territory, detailed Israel’s sweeping restrictions on aid during a UN Security Council briefing Wednesday.

🔹Israel rejects scissors, crutches, wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs as “dual-use,” bars medical specialists and restricts engine oil so severely that its price has risen to 45 times normal levels, bringing aid operations to “an absolute breaking point,” Rayburn said.

🔹Israeli authorities have also rejected watermelon and onions under an unpublished “humanitarian policy,” deregistered more than 30 international aid groups and repeatedly moved the supposedly fixed Yellow Line, cutting access to at least 85 water points, schools and health clinics.

“Humanitarian assistance, by its nature, cannot be conditioned,” Rayburn said, noting Israel was shrinking “almost daily” the physical space in Gaza where aid groups can operate.

The Israelis coerced a confession out of this autistic child. No lawyer. He doesn’t understand what’s being said. He’s suffering from a concussion and skull fracture.

The Israelis interrogator slaps him on his concussed head.

They then shove him in a hole, in solitary confinement, for half of his life, for over a decade, a few days of solitary confinement is a recognised war crime.

He develops schizophrenia and amnesia due to contant torture, beatings and isolation.

This is the fate of so many children.

Israel is the only “country” on earth that has a system specifically designed to do this. Hundreds of children a year.

Children Were Kept In Outdoor Cages During Snowstorms

This is a clip from Stone Cold Justice, John Lyons’ investigation for Four Corners (ABC, 2014). It exposed Israel’s industrialised cruelty way before Oct 7th 2023.

At Ofer Military Prison, Palestinian children are dragged through hearings that last seconds. Shackled, silenced and convicted without being looked at.

Israel’s military courts brag about a 99.74% conviction rate. That’s not law, that’s a rigged machine. A conveyor belt designed to crush children until guilt becomes inevitable.

UNICEF called it systematic, institutionalised abuse: threats of death, beatings, isolation, sexual violence.

This is Israel’s legacy in full view: a state so afraid of Palestinian children it has to break them, then call it justice.

And the world still calls this a democracy.
