2 things:
1. One of the appeals judges who ruled in this case was legal counsel for @onetoughnerd -- he appointed him.
2. Brilliant timing to drop this on the 10 year anniversary of the #FlintWaterCrisis. Chef's kiss. No notes.

We’re not going to sit on the sidelines in 2024.
We’re calling Michiganders across the state to ensure they vote for @JoeBiden, @KamalaHarris, and Democrats up and down the ballot because we know so much is at stake in this election.
Let’s get to work!
Today, I will sign a bipartisan budget that lowers costs for families, makes crucial investments in road and water infrastructure, and supports public health initiatives to help even more people make it in Michigan. I’m thrilled we’re taking action to help Michiganders thrive.
We’re facing an unprecedented moment for democracy, and MAGA extremists are doubling down.
We must fight like hell for our fundamental rights.

Today I’m launching Fight Like Hell PAC to support candidates who fight like hell for working people and their fundamental freedoms.
It’s time to build on our momentum and support candidates who will deliver real, meaningful change.

Here in Michigan we now pay student teachers! $9,600 per semester. Plus we have a fellowship for people to complete teacher prep tuition free. We want great teachers to train and stay here.
Teachers help our kids learn and grow into their best selves. My latest budget will continue our work to support teachers and grow the profession — by funding scholarships, paying student teachers, and supporting retention efforts. Let's get it done! #TeacherAppreciationWeek
Rep @MarkEHuizenga, remember when you voted against safe storage bills and prevented them from taking immediate effect? Look what's happening in your district.
We created the Michigan Office of Community Violence Intervention Services because keeping communities safe is a shared responsibility. When we work together on solutions to our toughest problems, we’re able to make a difference in each other’s lives.

No one should go hungry attending school and no one should have to go into debt just to keep their families fed.
This is the largest Education budget Michigan has ever seen and it will make a real difference in real lives for parents and students alike.
I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the teachers I’ve had along the way. Join me throughout #TeacherAppreciationWeek thanking teachers across our state for their tireless dedication to ensuring every student has the opportunity and encouragement needed to succeed.
Here in Michigan, we are competing with everyone to lead the future of cars, chips, and clean energy. I'm proud that we have secured over $20 billion of investments and 13,000 good-paying jobs that bring critical supply chains back home. https://t.co/Qk1X0ZAFLc
Maggie should have graduated from college with me, but we lost her to gun violence my sophomore fall. Her death has fueled my work to fight for gun safety reform, and I am proud to work for @gretchenwhitmer and get this done!
Background checks and safe storage laws save lives. I'm so glad we got this done — for Martha and Rick, and for every Michigander who has lost someone they love to gun violence.
I've gotten many letters from young people who are worried about climate change.
Because they have to live with the consequences of the choices we make now.
That's why we're making critical investments in Michigan's future. https://t.co/GboxT7r5Bk
I've always believed the health of our economy is inextricably linked to the health of our people and planet. Michigan is the #1 state for energy job growth — and we're just getting started!
