“My skins clear, I can go back to my old habits”
“My skins finally clear, I can stop using my acne med”

If it ain’t broke- don’t fix it!
Don’t fall into the trap of thinking you don’t need to stay consistent with the skincare routine that gave you your dream skin. Stopping your products/treatments can cause your skin concerns to come back
Not every acne prone person will break out from every “not acne safe” thing. But it is better to be safe than sorry. I would rather stay away from something that has the potential to break me out when working hard and spending lots of money to clear my acne, than to risk it.
More specifically, their acne clients.
these types of posts are to educate current clients, and others who follow us licensed estheticians for our knowledge and skincare advice. It’s out of the kindness of our hearts, and our need to help others 🩷
btw- your esthetician can tell when you’re not using your products. We know exactly how long a product is supposed to last, so if you tell me you’re using a serum twice daily, but you have half the bottle left still and you bought it 9 months ago..then the math ain’t mathing sis
If you’re on a skincare routine to clear your acne but still using makeup products every day that break you out- you unfortunately will have a very difficult /nearly impossible time clearing your acne.
Don’t backtrack your progress! Make sure you don’t run out of your skincare products, as even a short amount of time not doing your skin routine can reverse progress made. Your skin is your largest organ, don’t take it for granted, treat it right!🩵🩷✨
Compliancy is key to achieving your skin goals! This means listening to your estheticians advice, changing habits that could be negatively affecting your skin, religiously following your prescribed skincare routine, and making sure you don’t run out of your products!🩷🩵✨

Bruh I need a do not disturb sign on my door bc randos w/o appts keep walking into the salon and POUNDING on my door while I’m giving a facial bc they’re looking for the massage therapist. We don’t accept walk ins and we have a sign saying so, but I guess people don’t care 🫠
