No doubt S. S. Rajamouli is the best when it comes to making big, epic films.

But Nitesh Tiwari is really strong in storytelling, emotions, and characters. If the story is good, you don’t really mind the VFX and honestly, it’s not that bad anyway.

The reported budget for this is $400 million USD, while the budget for both parts of "Ramayana" is around $500 million USD, which means $250 million USD for each film.
