Finished the onboarding sessions and got access to the codebase today.
Spent some time going through the project structure and trying to understand how everything fits together.
A lot to learn from here.
I was working on this project, and in between I got an offer letter from a startup. I felt so relieved and got into a comfort zone that I wasted an entire week and didn’t even bother opening the project.
I need to improve my consistency and mindset.
I am building GateFlow-an API Monetization & Rate Limiting Platform using Spring Boot microservices.
The idea is to create an infrastructure layer where companies can expose APIs securely through a centralized gateway.
Current architecture includes:
• Spring Cloud Gateway
• Redis-based rate limiting
• Kafka event pipeline
• PostgreSQL
• Observability stack
The goal of this project is to explore infrastructure and distributed systems concepts through a production-inspired architecture.
I'm literally tired of asking for a referral...these guys don't even respond after seeing the message. It hardly takes 4-5 minutes for this but nah they won't even bother helping
