Since Sacha Baron Cohen is making the headlines again, I’d like to remind you of the time he lied to a Palestinian Christian from Bethlehem named Ayman Abu Aita.

In the film “Bruno” Sacha falsely labelled Ayman, a mere shop keeper, as a member of Al-Aqsa Martyrs brigade and deliberately mistranslated what Ayman was saying in Arabic to make him look threatening. Sacha had even chosen the location of the interview, and invited Ayman himself, which was in a part of the West Bank under Israeli control. Sacha had also led Ayman to think he was being interviewed for his peace activism.

Ayman sued both Sacha and David Letterman for $110 million in damages for libel. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

Sacha has been a racist piece of shit for a long time.
