State General Secretary Of @IYCPunjab. Member of Vigilance & Monitoring Committee. Former Elected State Senior General Secretary @IYC Chandigarh 2012- 2021.
What every democracy needs to guard against is Demagogues who always start off as paying ubiquitous court to the will of the people but eventually end up as tyrants.
-This was the principal apprehension of those brave visionaries who met in Philadelphia in 1787 to write the American Constitution and that is from where the Doctrine of Separation of Powers and the maxim of checks and balances emerged.
That each institution balances the other so that no one wields absolute power.
For power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely
- History is always instructive.
I have always endeavoured to keep the imperatives of development above partisan politics.
On 24 th August 2022 when @PMOIndia came to inaugurate the Dr Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre ( Tata Memorial Centre ) situated in New Chandigarh as MP from Sri Anandpur Sahib I was present on the occasion. Today that Tata Memorial Centre is a lifeline for thousands of Cancer Patients from across the region.
On the 17 th of July 2026 when @PMOIndia again Inaugurated a slew of development projects located in the Chandigarh and my erstwhile Parliamentry Constituency of Sri Anandpur Sahib I was again present on the occasion because these projects will help better the lives of people that we have been elected to serve.
Over the past 45 years as a political activist I have seen how our politics systematically breaking down .
It has turned increasingly toxic and corrosive where political rivals are now considered as mortal adversaries.
Delhi today epitomises this broken politics.
However am still a little ‘old school ‘ who still believes in certain basic courtesies and tenets of protocol and above all keeping the imperatives of development above partisan politics.
THAT IS WHO I AM IRRESPECTIVE OF WHO MAY THINK WHAT !

The explosion near the Border Security Force headquarters in Jalandhar is deeply alarming. A blast in a delivery scooter in a crowded area exposes a serious collapse of law and order.
Punjab is a sensitive border state—such incidents raise grave national security concerns. Yet, while the @AAPPunjab government is busy parading its MLAs before the President, the @BJP4India led Centre is equally distracted and failing in its responsibility to ensure security.
People deserves safety, not political theatre.
