951→323→951📍Full circle. UCR Lets get it! This journey was nothing like the highlight reels. It tested me deeply. I questioned my worth, it questioned if I was enough, if I should keep going, if it was even meant for me. But God never let go. When I was empty, His grace carried me. When doors closed, He opened the right ones. When I felt unseen, He reminded me I’m seen. Today, I get to say I’ve committed to continue my education and athletic career at UC Riverside where I’ll be playing D1 softball, but this post isn’t about that. Every step, every tear, every breakthrough belongs to Him. I’m just the vessel. ALL glory to God, without Him, none of this would even be possible.🙏🏼 To the girls still chasing the same dream, keep your eyes on Jesus. Let Him lead. Your worth isn’t in rankings, offers, or rosters, it’s in Him. And if He placed the dream in your heart, He will finish what He started. To my parents, thank you for being my spiritual rock, for every prayer, sacrifice, and late-night talk when I was ready to walk away. Dad, thank you for being my personal coach and my biggest inspiration. You’re the reason I always try to do my best. You’ve shaped every part of my game and pushed me to be better. Mom, your endless love, support, and strength have been my foundation. I truly don’t know where I’d be without you. To my younger siblings, thank you for cheering the loudest, looking up to me, and giving me a reason to keep going and lead with love. To Marlece, I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for standing by me and your unwavering support. To Coach Nat, Chester, Joel, Coach Neil and Ronnie, thank you for helping me step into who I was becoming. To my Bengals family- Coach Ken, Coach Sean, Coach Rob, and Coach Roseann, your belief in me meant the world. To my teammates, thank you for never letting me quit, always believing in me, and supporting me like sisters.🧡🖤 To the UCR coaching staff, thank you for this incredible opportunity to chase my dream. To those who doubted me along the way, thank you for growing my resilience and reminding me where my true confidence comes from. He gets all the credit. I just get the joy of walking out His plan. 💙💛 @UCRSoftball@BSCBengals@ExtraInningSB@SBRRetweets@MSPtakeover@SoftballDown@SoftballRecruit@CoastRecruits@LineDsoftball@DfwSho@MSPtakeover@LegacyLegendsS1@FastpitchAthRec @Athletes4Him @AllGlory2Him

To the Class of 2026 & 2027,
Yesterday was a big day in the softball world. September 1st. For some, it brought excitement, calls, texts, new opportunities. But for many others, it brought silence.
If you're one of the girls who didn’t get a call, a message, or any kind of sign, I see you. I was you. I remember what that silence feels like. I remember watching others post their “first calls” while I sat refreshing my phone, wondering if I wasn’t good enough, if all the work I put in was for nothing. It’s easy to start questioning yourself.
To the uncommitted 2026s, who may feel like time is running out, breathe. You’re not behind. You’re not forgotten. And your future is still full of purpose. To the 2027s, just beginning the journey and already feeling the pressure, don’t let one day define your value. This is only the beginning, and God is already ahead of you.
Let me say this clearly. Your worth is not based on a call. Your identity isn’t found in who contacts you and God’s plan for your life is not limited by a recruiting timeline.
I didn’t commit on September 1st.
I committed the summer after my senior year. Not because I wasn’t working, but because God was still writing my story.
So if September 1st came and went, and all you felt was silence, don’t give up.
That silence doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It doesn’t mean you’re forgotten. And it definitely doesn’t mean God isn’t moving.
Keep working. Keep trusting. Keep seeking HIM in the silence. Because the silence isn’t empty, He’s in it. And He’s faithful to finish what He starts. Let Jesus lead. Because when it’s His time, no one can take what He has planned for you.
Whether the call comes this year, or next year, His timing is perfect. Your job? Stay faithful to the process, and keep your eyes on Jesus.
You're not alone in this.
