After her mother contracted the virus, the infection spread to Tala and her sister. Their health is deteriorating rapidly under these dire conditions.

Epidemics are now threatening the most vulnerable, even those who have just entered the world amidst conditions lacking the most basic necessities for survival.

هذه الحالة ليست فردية؛ إذ يشهد قطاع غزة تفشياً متسارعاً للأمراض بين الأطفال في مراكز النزوح، في ظل تكدس سكاني خانق، وانهيار كامل في خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي، ونقص حاد في المستلزمات الطبية واللقاحات.
باتت الأوبئة تهدد حياة الأكثر ضعفاً، حتى أولئك الذين استقبلوا الحياة للتو وسط ظروف تفتقر لأدنى مقومات البقاء.
