Do you see it yet? The Bible is just as true today as it was from the beginning (John 17:17; Hebrews 13:8). If you think for one second that I am comparing Charlie to Jesus, you’re missing the point. I am drawing a contrast between good and evil from Jesus’ time to our own.

Jesus warned that evil would increase and that we would be persecuted for our faith (Matthew 24:9–12; John 15:18–20). We are living in the times described in the books of Revelation and Daniel (Daniel 12:4; Revelation 1:3). I pray that each of us draws closer to God and cultivates a deep relationship with our Father in heaven, whatever the cost (James 4:8).

To die to the flesh is to live in Christ (Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:6–8). I sense the Holy Spirit drawing me closer to Jesus more now than ever (Romans 8:14; John 16:13).

No one knows the day or the hour of the Lord’s return (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32), but I believe His coming is near (Revelation 22:12). If you sense this too, let’s pray together and share this message with as many people as we can...for the time is short (Ephesians 5:15–16).
