The Supreme Court on May 8, 2020 overturned the judgment of a Federal High Court because "Justice Idris who delivered the judgment was already sworn in as a Justice of the Court of Appeal at the time and so could not act in the capacity of a judge of the High Court and ordered a retrial".
What does the assignment of a Judge have to do with one being guilty?

The British government has apologized to Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, for his illegal detention at Heathrow Airport in London. The detention was a case of mistaken identity, as an immigration official had wrongly accused him of committing perjury, forgery, and identity theft.

The British authorities admitted that the treatment he received was "completely unacceptable" and issued a personal apology. The former Governor of Anambra State was wrongly detained over offences allegedly committed by an impostor who is still at large.
