I had a great time participating in the @EBStonewallDems annual Pride Breakfast as a new board member.
Looking forward to organizing alongside this amazing group of leaders in support of LGBTQIA+ community across the East Bay. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

My mother was killed when I was 9 years old when an on-duty law enforcement officer ran a stop sign and struck her vehicle.
We need accountability from those who are tasked with keeping us safe, and instead are endangering our community.
@oaklandpoliceca
I’m embarrassed that @DrJenniferTran graduated from the same Ethnic Studies program as me.
Her choice to amplify disgusting stances against the LGBTQ+ community for political benefit are shameful.
Good on @TeamLPAC
Can’t wait to be represented by @lateefahsimon in Congress.
As an organization committed to advancing the rights of LGBTQ+ & nonbinary people, LPAC rescinds our endorsement of Dr. Jennifer Tran, effectively immediately. The LGBTQ+ community deserves leaders who help ensure our youth can thrive.

The way horrible people defending this keep on focusing on their dislike of Brandon, as if it's an ethical reason to slander people who's identity can easily be found w/such a disgusting claim. It's everything you need to know about this so-called movement of shields for wealth.
Incredible pick for vp, a teacher, a man who knows how to use a slim majority in his state to get so much done for minnesota. the democratic party is making strange choices this past month that make me feel like they actually want to win.
Every media source focusing on a Black DA for the things it completely ignored when a white DA did them can eat ish. The "Price is the DA now" thing does not move me. Say that to me, so I can know you are a full of it.
Happy anniversary of my historic filing and to everyone who made it possible! City of @Oakland went on to illegally disqualify me for 2 weeks and we made history again by having it reverse itself after hearing from community, elections experts, and most of my opponents.
I’m running again!
I have exciting news and an invitation — I’m running for Alameda County Board of Supervisors and I’m inviting you back to Team Esteen.
I can’t do it without you. Visit https://t.co/WJlFJY3kDz to learn more.

Agenda also includes item on illegal dumping and request to fund more surveillance. The current failed approach already costs millions each year and City reports less than 100 citations last year (no info on what $ was actually collected) or cost to actually clean streets (2/2)
Agenda includes renewing the declaration of a local emergency due to homelessness that has been in place for years. Still no plan from admin or Mayor to end the emergency or action to repeal + replace encampment management policy. (1/2)
I love walking into businesses, libraries, etc seeing that they have the @sfbayview and getting to read my articles on local politics. Appreciate all the subscribers and followers 💚 Follow the newspaper and pick up a hard copy of the July edition ✊🏾
Happy Juneteenth. Thinking today of my grandfather who was from Galveston, TX. He didn’t share much about his life before coming to CA but I know he grew up in sharecropping and didn’t want to say any more about that horror. I’m proud to live in a legacy of resilience.
Oakland has declared a local emergency due to homelessness since 2018. Our policy is encampment management. 🫣I’ve never seen a plan to END the state of emergency just actions that are exacerbating it. This fee idea is illegal and will lead to more problems for the City. 🙃
Pay attention to this budget cycle under our “progressive” leaders. We have a special election scheduled this November, full 2024 elections, no implementation of Oakland youth vote passed in 2020, and appear to be regressing to no public campaign finance at all.
Our bargaining team remains at the table with OUSD tonight. Today the school board cancelled their meeting & failed, again, to show the leadership our students need. We still showed up - showed up strong. Our resolve is strong, and we will keep fighting for what our kids need.
Our lines held strong today. Educators are committed to bargaining for the schools Oakland students deserve, and until an agreement is reached, we will continue to be on the line for our students. #Unite4OaklandStudents
STRIKE DAY 2: Our strike will continue tomorrow. Today we learned that the OUSD board has not authorized the district's bargaining team to bargain in good faith with our team. Tomorrow, we make sure OUSD knows that we will not stop fighting for our students.#Unite4OaklandStudents
