1- A compassionate attitude towards other contestants.
2- Keep your ego aside. Believe you don't know it all.
3- Be aware of the critics; don’t be guided by them.
4- If you have a point, clarify why you believe you deserve a win.
5- Don’t put others down publicly. No one ever won anything by putting someone else down.

7- Respect the outcome.
8- When presenting your case to win, don’t belittle others.
9- Reflect on past experiences and see what can be learned.
10- Always have an optimistic win.

If people restrict their understanding of disability to a B&W picture in their heads that says all disabled people look the same then it means that we still have a lot of work to do.

Another repeated reminder, please don’t use ‘blind eye’ ‘Deaf ears’ as negative metaphors. In doing so you are embedding ableist ideas that sees disability in negative terms. You might say this is symbolic, but it has real world consequences.
Anger, sadness or frustrations towards injustice is normal. However it is important to channel these feelings in a proper way. Any of us may go through this at some point in life. Its okay to let others know that you are not feeling “okay”.
