Marcie's fight against cancer is truly inspiring. After hearing the devastating news, it's clear she needs our support. Every donation, can make a difference in her journey to get treatment at MD Anderson. Please consider contributing or sharing her story.. https://t.co/VvyDM37Za3
To be severely chronically ill & still write a whole album about pain while in pain I just can’t even imagine the strength & courage it takes.
Halsey is such a true hurricane & such a survivor. I am so proud of h. So beyond glad she came out the other side even stronger.❣️🌀
*Chronically ill person exists*
Random, generally healthy person: “Have you tried drinking more water cuz my sister’s friend’s cousin did & now they’re all better.”
NO THEY’RE NOT!! THEY PROBABLY STARTED TELLING PEOPLE THEY’RE FINE SO THEY’LL STOP GETTING SUGGESTIONS LIKE THIS
I don't know which chronically ill person needs to hear this but cut your hair.
It's so much easier to take care of brushing and washing it when it's shorter.
Friendly reminder that you can start with just cutting a little bit off the ends at a time.
Dad, on the 9th anniversary of your passing, I'm remembering you for your most excellent fashion choices. These days are always hard and I love remembering you for being so very, very YOU. Love you so much!
I need nondisabled people to see disabled joy. To witness it & sit with it & be remade by it. Be confounded by it.
See my joy & freedom & comfort. I am free when I have this walker with me. I am safe in ways I haven’t known in decades.
Let me have my joy. Let me relish it. /fin
It’s #DisabilityPrideMonth! Let’s celebrate the accomplishments of people with disabilities, honor the diversity of the disability community, and continue the fight for disability rights.
Because let’s be clear: Disability rights are civil & human rights.
