I hope the Zelda movie plays it straight. I want a LOTR type epic. Not some self referential humour about Navi being annoying or something.
Everything seen so far looks good though tbh
Rockstar Games is reportedly furious over the latest wave of GTA 6 leaks but has no plans to change the game's Netflix premiere date
The leaks have angered employees who have spent years working on the highly anticipated sequel
this is what i've been saying, switch 2 on the 8nm process is cheaper to produce than the majority of gaming devices out there. it also uses less expensive ram, and less of it. nintendo either got lucky, or they're very smart
i think its hilarious how giant studios like disney have hundreds of employees dedicated to consumer research and audience insight and have no problem with using generative ai and then you have nolan who doesnt have a phone and knows better just from talking to his kids
Christopher Nolan says younger audiences are utterly rejecting AI-generated slop.
“[My sons'] judgment of AI slop has been immediate and harsh. They see it for what it is very quickly – and it’s much easier for them to identify it, because it grew out of an online world they know really well.”

Wow I can’t believe the CEO of the company that will fire employees for being a minute late no matter the reason is conservative and irrational. I’m so shocked.
There are thousands of artists in Orlando and even around the world who would want to create art to help produce merchandise for you and yet you decide to use AI instead? It’s actually shameful. @UniversalORL
According to former Nintendo Social Media Manager Ashley Day, Iwata made sure everyone at Nintendo Europe received Animal Crossing: New Leaf to understand the appeal:
“There was a very unusual push behind-the-scenes to make this a success. This came from the top. This came from Iwata. Certainly in Europe, I don’t know what it was like in the States or in Japan, but every single employee at Nintendo Europe and all of its subsidiaries was given a free copy of New Leaf months before the game came out.
Iwata made a point and said, ‘I want everyone, it’s now your job to play New Leaf, like play it every day’… he wanted people to understand at Nintendo what it was like to play Animal Crossing habitually.
He was right. It was amazing to see, like, some of the older generation of sales people who were in their late 50s and didn’t really touch games all that much suddenly became ultra obsessed with Animal Crossing and they were trading on the Animal Crossing stock market and making clothes. To see normal people in suits talking about Animal Crossing on a daily basis was like this weird thing that proved how special it was. And it translated into the marketing and the sales and the game was in fact a huge success in part because of that innovative internal push.”
