@tipperairey Same here. It says to me that he has a lifetime of trauma being laughed at for his traits and therefore is using this for his comedy which in turn reinforces the view that autistic people are there to be laughed at. Awful.
In memory of @stevesilberman, we are sharing free recordings of our two online events with him until the end of October. If you would like to watch them, you can find them on our website. Scroll down the page to AutAngel News and Updates. https://t.co/BNB3di3FUv

FYI... Autistic people tend to think in complexities.
Someone can ask us to do something seemingly straightforward, but our brains will often make it into something extremely complex and nuanced.
We ask questions to untangle our thoughts.
Very excited that my book 'The Autistic Postgraduate Woman: Navigating the Neurotypical University' is now available for pre-order from @PavPub. Foreword by the brilliant @DrAmyPearson.

Our paper about neurodiversity, models of disability, and intervention preferences is out.
Led by Patrick Dwyer, with a stellar team.
It is a sequel to our 2013 Dev Psych Neurodiversity paper and I think it has a depth and power that is 11 years stronger: https://t.co/leMrLr3M0n
Measurement Issues: Measuring well-being is challenging due to varying definitions and the need for reliable, valid instruments tailored to specific groups like university students. https://t.co/xHT4IXkN9C @alysondodd@PriestleyMJ@katietyrrell99@KittyN101
