beabadoobee announced ‘Pylon,’ her fourth album, out September 18.

It’s the follow-up to her 2024 project, ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves.’ The album takes its name from “the electricity towers that dot every major artery in the world—the strong, spindly structures that reminded [her] of her connection to friends and family at home while she was staring down extreme disconnection and isolation on tour over the past few years,” according to a press release.

The 14 songs were built around waves of distortion, grunge, Midwest emo, and ‘90s radio rock. The album features collaborations from Hayley Williams, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Title Fight’s Shane Moran, and production from Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 on “Write Me A Letter.” The lead single and music video “Sun Has Set” are out now, directed by her partner and longtime collaborator Jake Erland.

This fall, @beabad00bee will hit the road for her Powerlines Tour, marking her first arena run. She’ll be performing across North America, the UK, and Europe; Violet Grohl and Wisp will be supporting. Artist presale opens June 29, and general on-sale begins July 2 on her website.
