Angel Reese claiming she “never had Barbie dolls growing up because they didn’t look like her” is a powerful story.

It is also historically dishonest.

Christie, Barbie's Black friend, entered Barbie’s world in 1968.

The first official Black Barbie arrived in 1980.

American Girl introduced Addy Walker in 1993.

And in 1998, four years before Reese was born, Mattel was already selling Black basketball-playing Barbie dolls in authentic NBA uniforms.

By the time Angel Reese was old enough to walk through a toy aisle, Black dolls had already existed for decades... with different skin tones, hairstyles, careers, fashion lines and athletic identities.

Maybe none of the available dolls felt personally meaningful to her.

But that is very different from suggesting they did not exist.

They did.

Long before Angel Reese was born.

This is another example of a personal anecdote being repackaged into a sweeping cultural grievance that falls apart the moment anyone checks the timeline.

The irony is almost perfect:

A Black basketball Barbie existed before Angel Reese did.

I'm not backing down from this one.

You can support people's rights AND believe biological men shouldn't compete in women's sports. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

My issue isn't hate. It's protecting women, protecting girls, and asking why a WNBA coach chose to inject herself into a controversy that could hurt the very league she's supposed to represent.

Common sense still matters. That's where I stand.

La mejor muestra de cómo la gente no lee, no piensa y no razona es el caso del proyecto Esencia en Cabo Rojo y el agua.

Como parte de nuestra ponencia en el Instituto de Libertad Económica para Puerto Rico, realizamos un análisis de la propuesta. Su propuesta tiene en "plain sight", es decir, que hasta mi mamá (qepd), que apenas tenía un grado de escuela superior y no hablaba inglés, lo leía y se percataba claramente de que Esencia no necesita conectarse al sistema de la AAA y que es completamente autosuficiente con su propio sistema.

Incluso, tendrá tanta autosuficiencia que le podría dar agua a la AAA si lo conectan y la AAA está interesada.
Pero no leemos, no pensamos ni tenemos criterio propio. Somos muy vagos. Vamos por ahí repitiendo como el papagayo la propaganda de los medios de izquierda socialista y social-demócrata y todos sus influencers.

Y dicho sea de paso. Esta es la precisa razón por la que muchos no logran movilidad ascendente en su carácter individual y por qué colectivamente estamos en zendo boquete como sociedad y npi de cuándo vamos a salir.
