Our 51st engine has arrived! 🚒
This afternoon, we hosted an event at Manchester Central Station to celebrate the increase in our operational fleet to 51, with an additional frontline engine now in service in Manchester City Centre.
Great to see the increase of frontline resource in Manchester Borough, especially while many other services are vastly reducing there capacity. Even more to come in 2025!! 👨🏽🚒🚒
This is a biological male fighting a female & absolutely everyone can see it, they have also failed gender screening, twice & have XY chromosomes. There is no ambiguity that the IOC do not care if a female gets seriously hurt. Or worse. I’m astonished at the weakness of the media

They should not face abuse and attacks when doing their job.

Last night 5 of our staff who are part of the UK International Search and Rescue (ISAR) team headed out to #Morocco to support rescue efforts over there following the devastating earthquake.
Our team consists of Station Manager Martin Foran who is acting as Operations Commander. You might remember Martin from earlier this year when he travelled with the team we sent to Turkey following the earthquake on the Turkey-Syria border.
Martin is joined by Watch Manager Gavin Kearsley from Ashton Technical Response Unit, who will be a crew leader; Watch Managers John Hughes and Simon Cording from Leigh TRU, and Crew Manager Ross Strother from our Technical Training team, who will all be technicians over there.
They are being supported back in here by Watch Manager Mike Hirst who is coordinating our response and who you will also remember from the Turkey response in February.
We will keep you as updated as we can on their rescue efforts ❤️🚒
✅Rescued 2,221 people
