@Allison_Manuel I noted a similar pattern with myself when using the MoodCheck app! During times school work was heavy, my mood was not great. I think that as students we are very vulnerable to stress as we do not get much downtime. Finding ways to cope is crucial to our mental health #hkr1000
It was also not surprising for me to note that my moods were consistently good during times I was active. I highly recommend using exercise as an outlet in times of stress or feeling down! #hkr1000
After using the MoodCheck app it was easy for me to pinpoint the exact things that put me in a bad mood vs. the things that made me happy. It was not surprising to me that my mood was worse at times school work was heavy and my moods were better when doing things I love. #hkr1000
@CareyStoodley Wow! I didn't know that the amount of fibre that we consume could have such a dramatic impact on our health. Clearly our diet and getting the right amount of nutrients is detrimental in maintaining optimal health. #hkr1000
This study suggests that regardless of age or location, exercise can significantly help reduce risk for depression! Bottom line exercise offers incredible benefits that can improve many aspects of our health. #hkr1000
https://t.co/1VRZoAkLjx We have learnt throughout this course that exercise is very important to maintain physical wellness, but often a lot of people overlook the fact that exercise is also very important for our emotional wellbeing! #hkr1000
@Oakey98 I agree! As students I think we are very invested in our work, and often neglect many aspects of our physical wellness because of this without even realizing #hkr1000
It did not surprise me to see that our #hkr1000 class only ranked 65.31% on eating responsibly. I think this is highly influenced by the fact that as university students we are often very busy and don't have the time to put into cooking a healthy meal.
