It may seem like a small milestone, but having my own website still feels surreal! ✨
In this small corner of the internet, you will find short stories I have written, and one day, hopefully, my first novel 📚

https://t.co/THgwJl9lPo has been updated to feature my debut novel, The Case of Hailey Whittaker (working title).
If you'd like to read more, get in touch. We can explore beta reading opportunities, including beta exchanges.

Calling all #authors... how do you find your beta readers?
I’m currently using Scribophile, but I’m curious to hear how others have found theirs. Writing groups, social media, friends, something else?
Would love to hear what’s worked for you!

@KristinaKing121 Update: Scribophile has removed my account because I enquired about a beta exchange, rather than being a standard beta reader. Unfortunately, they won't let me reactivate my account 🫠
I'm looking to do a beta exchange with authors who also write psychological thrillers.
I have posted more details on the r/BetaReaders subreddit. If you're interested, let me know!

@KristinaKing121 I’ve published my first few chapters and am signing up for access to the beta reader directory today. I’m hoping to connect with readers who are interested in exchanging feedback, as I think it could be a really rewarding way to gain insights.
@DMcEntyreAuthor I’ve posted my first few chapters on Scribophile, which has been a great way to get feedback and connect with readers who may be interested in beta reading. I use the free version, and it’s very much a give-to-receive kind of platform. https://t.co/mrdoxrh0JU
@ReaderTorvic I think finding readers who genuinely enjoy the genre is important, and detailed feedback is invaluable. Those are both key things I’d be hoping to find.
@jessytemple That's where I began. I received some incredibly valuable feedback, and I’m grateful that the people closest to me understand what this is all about. Having people I can turn to as I navigate changes along the way is truly invaluable!

In December I shared my novel with beta readers for the very first time.
The feedback I received was overwhelmingly positive, with only a few suggested tweaks which are now underway.
Let's see what happens next! #5amwritersclub#writingcommunity#authors
