VAR has become a big problem. Games are boring now! Mind you I have been watching Championship games and they are super dull too. I don't think the Championship has VAR. Not sure.
@ShiraLurie They also served and serve the purpose of covering up any running nose or red nose. The Japanese are notoriously concerned with saving face.

@Speech_First If it's bullying , then an employee shouldn't be subjected to offense. These right wingers will say people shouldn't be off work on mental health benefits, but then their mental health could be protected better at work.
@thementalelves MH NHS is a crock of something. I have not had my meds since last Sunday despite concerted efforts to order starting 3 weeks ago. Ok I'm not entitled to get free meds but then don't force me (Section 2/3 MHA) to take them in the first place.
@theJeremyVine economics of electricity: costs a lot to set up, then each unit cheap. That's why we have a standing charge. It's equitable. Each extra unit used cheap once set up.

You can't have it both ways. Either you let in more of the wealthy, who get better marks, or you prioritise minorities and the poor.
@TessaOutlook@AllisonPearson The actual issue is that not many jobs provide value to the country. Working, basically doesn't make a difference to the amount of productivity of the country.
@tom_maari @mtmalinen@RealJakeBroe If Putin strikes us in the UK, we will take out their strategic sites, then we'll vaporise half their population, then we'll get on the telephone to our NATO allies who will join in. Same with France, who have an awesome military. As for China, they're neutral
