Once upon a time I listened to every album in the #RS500 one by one and tweeted my thoughts. It took a long ass time, but it was fun. Welp, they updated the list and I ain't got shit else to do besides raise and educate my kids during a pandemic so LET'S DO IT AGAIN, SHALL WE?
Would love to see you at this incredible Silent Auction for @AcademyPalmer - our incredible DPSCD school. This event is adults only, but open to all and will be a great night of food, music and raising money for a great cause! Tickets: https://t.co/Hj6TmpF3B8
@GingerConstruct They seem to have confirmed it now - i just don’t love wild speculation about someone’s body, esp bc many bodies still look pregnant months or years after giving birth. But congrats to her? 😂
@MargTowski Omg 😂😂😂 also did not realize and just saw a bumper sticker with this on it and laughed at the thought of someone intentionally sticking this on their car
Christine McVie was an inspiration. She spent a career moving between genres, mixing bluesy vocals with massive pop hooks and rock with balladry. She found room in a gigantic, tumultuous rock band to deliver a poetic, empathetic and sophisticated point of view. A legend.
148: Frank Ocean "Channel Orange" Man, I can't believe this album is 10 years old. Still great, moody, sad, longing...I think I like it more now than I did then ❤️ great little Wednesday morning record on this cloudy pre-winter day. #RS500
149: Remember when John Prine died right after covid started and everyone was listening to his poetically sad songs as we watched the world burn? That was #cool#RS500
150: Taking a break from garbage tv to get back on this - still a great sad bastard album. A good sad bastard album is one that doesn't make YOU too sad. I can listen and be like, man this dude is SAD but this sounds GOOD and therefore I am not sad. #RS500
