I don’t want a really wealthy person as prime minister.
I don’t want someone who’s homophobic as prime minister.
I don’t want an ex-banker as prime minister.
I don’t want someone who is obsessed with nationalism as prime minister.
I want someone who cares. I want an election.
It’s frustrating listening to journalists talk about how the situation leaves “the country without a working government” without clarifying that they mean *England*.
Wales and Scotland have working governments.
In fact, the Senedd’s Housing Committee is sitting right now.
How much more farcical is this going to get? If Johnson can’t even be trusted to resign properly, the Tories need to act to end it…now. People across the UK need and deserve better - especially now - than a badly written soap opera
Tories in paper saving mode now. How much longer can this go on? If Johnson has merest scrap of concern for anyone but himself he will resign immediately. And then.. let’s have an election to choose an alternative. For 🏴 the permanent alternative is independence.
Struck by the raw fury I sense now. It was always going to end like this. That anger needs to be focused not just on Johnson but also the toadies in his party and the non dom newspaper tycoons who facilitated this abhorrent premiership. Generations will have to pay for this.
This Prime Minister has disgraced his office and let down our country. After all the sleaze, scandals and failure, it’s clear his Government is collapsing.
His cheerleaders have been complicit every step of the way, through all the lies and law-breaking. Britain deserves better.
