๐จNew @ONS statistics show that the amount of geographic redistribution across the UK has increased significantly in recent years - with London having a substantially bigger fiscal surplus, and much of the rest of the country bigger deficits (esp. Scotland & West Midlands)...
This election has just descended into a straight pro-Reform/anti-Reform vote. With 'fear of Farage' being the biggest driver. So much for proportional representation! #Senedd26
As is usual in my household, my Son and I have spent months discussing Welsh politics and who to vote for. My Wife, who has no interest in politics, is only deciding today after she reads all the leaflets #Senedd26
Lib Dem - Always feel sorry for David Wilkins, who's my son's teacher, admire his persistence but on a hiding to nothing
Conservative - Darren Millar has been a good representative for Clwyd and North Wales. Gareth Davies is the only candidate to knock on my door and have a chat
Clwyd Consistuency #Senedd26
Reform UK - Their top three candidates are all ex-Tory Conwy councillors who put up my Council tax by 6.5%
Plaid Cymru - Llลทr Gruffydd is one of their better candidates, surely get re-elected. Don't know anything about Becca Martin, not local
Labour - Hannah Blythyn is a strong candidate, treated badly by Vaughan Gething, but has been moved from Flint, again not local.
Green - Martyn Hogg is a fellow Yorkshireman, seems a nice guy. We'd probably get on but would disagree about most things
