Delhi High Court protects Sadhguru's Personality Rights

The Personality Rights case filed by Sadhguru and Isha Foundation came up for hearing before the Delhi High Court today and the Hon’ble Court issued an interim order directing various online platforms to remove content misusing the name, image, and personality of Sadhguru. These scams include fake AI-generated videos, morphed images depicting false events, such as Sadhguru's arrest, and misleading advertisements promoting financial investments. Isha Foundation has been proactively working to remove such fake content and prevent individuals from falling prey to these scams.

“The Hindu” has the most anti-Hindu attitude, but this post is not about them.

For all the ignoramus among the Hindus going gaga about the Chennai High court questioning Sadhguru how he could have his daughter married while giving Sanyas to someone else’s daughters, here is an eye-opener on how Sanatana Dharma has always worked.

⁃ Sandipani who initiated Krishna into his Brahmacharya (yes, Krishna was a celibate for a while), was married and had a son also

⁃ Sage Vashishta was among the Saptarishis and had initiated thousands of people into Sanyas. He was also married and had a son.

⁃ Gautama the Buddha was also married and had a son before he himself took monkhood

⁃ Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was also married and yet initiated Narendra into Sanyas and turned him into Swami Vivekananda

There are literally hundreds of examples like this throughout our history.

Do you say a medical doctor should have a heart problem if he wants to teach his students how to treat heart disorders? No - he just needs to have the knowledge that he can pass on to his students. The same goes with a guru as well.

A guru being married and having children or not, has nothing to do with him initiating his disciples into something. He just needs to have the knowledge for it. If it works for the disciple, he/she will remain and will quit otherwise.

Even at Isha, millions of people have been initiated into their yoga practices, but hardly 300 people have been given monkhood or Brahmacharya. It’s always out of personal choice to stay as a monk or come out of it even.

If you don’t want to go to Isha for yoga or for any other reason, don’t go. That’s your personal choice.

Getting into a marriage or staying out of it has always been a matter of personal choice in the Hindu culture, unlike certain religions where it is even forced at times. Yet, you don’t see any sort of outrage for all that!

What the Chennai High Court has ordered and the TN police has done is nothing but a gross misuse and abuse of political and ideological power in TN where 150 police officers were sent to investigate two women monks, and that too in an ashram.

The silly part is that this case was raked up in 2016 and at that time itself the two women had clearly stated in the court that they are there with their free will and wish. The court had also cleared it then itself. Digging up the same nonsense after 8 years with no additional evidence coming up for any sort of forceful coercion and doing a smear campaign against is only a hit job by certain vested interests and nothing else.

What’s worse is the so-called Hindus in Tamil Nadu who have no clue of how their own Dharma works, clapping on the sideways happily dreaming from a lala-land that their government is secular, not having a clue how this is going to bite them back 🤦🏻‍♂️

But after volunteering at Isha for long, I changed as a person, because of which my relationship got better. In the end, I got married at the Devi Temple there.
