Ate an entire Chili’s skillet queso and skillet cookie by myself and had to stop at the local Kroger to commit war crimes in this unisex bathroom. I might not leave this place alive.
@jakekrom22@Utah_Nole That’s the thing. I don’t think it should happen either. If I had it my way, we’d have an 8 team playoff and both Georgia/FSU would’ve been in. But unfortunately, there were only 4 spots. I wish Georgia would’ve beaten Bama and just maybe they would’ve put in FSU over Texas.
@Utah_Nole@jakekrom22 It shouldn’t happen. I agree. For the first time since the CFP’s inception I felt we needed to expand to 8. Not quite sure why we skipped past that number. But since it was 4, I’m taking Bama’s resume over FSU’s.
@jakekrom22@Utah_Nole Did you read my reply at all? I believe the committee was justified in their selection without even factoring in the injury. The injury only makes matters worse, especially considering that we watched the offense sputter for two games without him.
@WarBlogle@PowellJohnT Not the point? You said Auburn outplayed Georgia in nearly every aspect. Untrue. Two things that are true, tho
1) Auburn’s players/staff deserve praise for going on the road and beating the No. 1 team while playing turnover free football
2) Georgia still played its worst game
@WarBlogle@PowellJohnT I mean that’s simply untrue. Georgia had 80 more yards, higher YPP, won the TOP battle, and had a higher 3rd down conversion rate. QB had an uncharacteristically bad game, and Auburn took advantage.
@laurdkog It’s certainly a rivalry, but I truly do hate how insignificant that felt. I went to the away game in 2017 and I was sick to my stomach for over a week. Had to win the next two games or the season was over. Now? Bump in the road to the CFP. Just glad it wasn’t Bama or Florida.
If Indiana at any point in Kirby Smart’s tenure beats Georgia I will shave my head fully, purchase a white t-shirt, travel to whatever game @JoshPateCFB is at the following week, and post a picture of the two of us on here.
@sc_gator23@claybwells10@daltine_cracker Neither Clay nor I have once insinuated that Auburn was lucky. You still have to be in the right position to take advantage of another team’s mistake. Hell, the only lucky team the past two weeks was Georgia, as every fumble bounced back to a Georgia player in Tuscaloosa.
@sc_gator23@claybwells10@daltine_cracker I don’t know how you can say that when Gunner stared down his intended target on the first interception, then overthrew Barbour who wasn’t even looking on his second. And ultimately, why does it matter to you? Your team is still going to lose to Georgia for a sixth straight time
@sc_gator23@claybwells10@daltine_cracker Well no. In Bama’s case they weren’t the ones fumbling and they were out gained by over 100.
Georgia out gained Auburn by 80 yards, had more YPP, and won TOP, they just turned the ball over 3 times. Two things can be true. Auburn played a great game, and Georgia beat themselves
