@shifty_day I have one who has been spewing conspiracies nonstop since it started, they’re exhausting to work with. Sat them down last week and told them they are clearly traumatized and need to talk to a professional, they humbly accepted EAP.

@ATLmurse Same story here. In the beginning I took it a day at a time and kept reminding myself that it wouldn’t be forever.

Now it’s been almost a year and I wonder if it’ll ever be over and if I can keep doing this.

@AfibWithRiver Have to have two years experience. ANCC is easier than MSNCB. ANCC was mostly medsurg common sense mixed with fundamentals. If you’re good at testing don’t splurge on a review book, they’re overwhelming and make it seem harder than it is. Just do online review.

Not all nurse managers are great but we are all doing work that goes unseen. We often don’t have the kind of control over staffing nurses think we do and we are suffering in this dumpster fire with you. Please be kind. 7/7

Staffing is an issue at the forefront of most of our minds right now. There are a lot of stories about the tension it’s built between the nurses and management. Not everyone is a great manager but this is what a good nurse manager is doing for you during COVID: 1/7
