The difference between the successful and others isn’t talent or opportunity—it’s the discipline to adapt consistently, no matter what life brings.
This thread is 6 years old, but the vision has taken 13 years to get here. We broke ground on Ekiti Knowledge Zone today. Honoured by @officialSKSM’s kind words for Ekiti. In all, Habbakuk 2:3.
Went to church today and sang a hymn that instantly brought back memories of Christ School, Ado Ekiti.
Back then, you have to know at least 25/ 30 hymns off the top of your head, or wahala go sup.
It got even worse in senior school if you were an old boarder.
I won't mention any of my seniors names though, some of them are mutuals here. 😁

The President of The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and some members paid a visit to Sunday Igboho in order to discuss how the abducted students and teachers will be rescued...
It’s high time we stop this deceptive form of empowerment. How is giving out grinding machines and hairdressing equipment true empowerment.
Governments and policymakers need to do better and start thinking outside the box. We cannot keep repeating the same approach for over two decades and expect different results.
Real empowerment should focus on creating sustainable opportunities, building skills for the future, and supporting entrepreneurship at scale, not just distributing tools and calling it progress.
Or how does this eradicate poverty or increase these people standard of living; if we even agree it’s been distributed in fairness.
Video Highlights of 2,000 women petty traders in Ekiti State received economic empowerment support through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady of Ekiti State and the Widows, Aged & Orphans Hope Support Foundation (WAOH).

If you’re a temporary resident in Canada 🇨🇦, don’t even bother asking the bank for a loan.

Young fella, in your 20s, you’re a construction worker.
It’s okay to repeat the same outfits, ride public transportation, or share a cramped apartment with friends. Your only mission is to build, not chase a soft life or impress women.
In your 30s, the family you may have started becomes Phase Two of the build. It will be demanding, overwhelming, and test every limit you have. This is when you begin planting seeds for wealth, but it demands a delicate balancing act to scale.
If you executed well in your 20s and 30s, your 40s become your most inspiring phase. This is where true wealth compounds which is likely fueled by your experience, networks, and emotional maturity. (Assuming poor health doesn’t derail you or drain your finances.)
Your 50s and 60s should be about minimizing risks and avoiding costly mistakes. That discipline is what creates the foundation for a truly comfortable, secure life in your 70s and 80s.
Stay focused. Stay inspired!
Happy June!
