Wicked: undeniably funny that this 160-minute half-movie about how the wicked witch of the west got her broom opens with voiceover saying “let me tell you the whole story.”
This is terrifying. On several levels. I am trying to remain calm and composed, but the statements here make that exceedingly difficult. Trump wants to gut public education on false pretenses. It is clear he only cares for one type of child.
I think I’m finally tired of the 3-point obsessed NBA offenses. I get the appeal mathematically, but it has done two things: 1) eliminated the special feel of a made 3-pointer; and 2) made the game feel boring and predictable. Besides pushing back the line, what’s the solution?
Have issues here, not so much with the names, but with placement.

Really think Morello, Slash, Corgan, and McCready are missing—bias for 60s-70s is understandable, but limited.
@xXPhillyCXx I hope they win a couple, but Jack White’s “No Name” is one my my faves this year. I’m surprised he received no other noms—while Green Day’s tepid “Saviors” took three.
Prop. 34 is some shady stuff. When I read the part about multi-family homes in a health care measure, my curiosity was piqued. Turns out real estate lobbies are trying to use legislation to attack the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Crazy! https://t.co/WaDscNBcjA
@coraliefargeat ‘s THE SUBSTANCE - the horror of losing oneself- the vertigo of surface- the betrayal of the flesh… precise, pulsating, humorous, relentless and switching nimbly from pathos to terror and laughter.
The MAGA people really ARE snowflakes. Trump has been calling Dems “vermin” for awhile now; been threatening to imprison enemies—but the moment Biden says “garbage people,” OH NO! their poor wittle feelings get hurt. What babies! Go change your diapers and get another snot rag.
Very concerning that CBS News would run this story with this headline when there are reports that Trump had this McDonald’s location closed for a staged photo op. I get clickbait, but an organization like CBS News should have better fact checking.
A deserved award! If you have not read this novel, put it at the top of your list. Ms. Due’s story about the ugly horrors of the Deep South cuts deep, yet never loses that speck of hope felt throughout all her work.
