@banksy_311 inspired bottle kiln scene on the Spode works site @SpodeWorks (pardon my art skills) but the idea could be a good way to demonstrate what the remains of the bottle kiln used to be like.
Great to see more expanding #createch businesses and high paid and high skilled jobs moving to Spode and Stoke Town.
This is where Stoke Town's future lies & the real potential for levelling up and should be the focus for the regeneration of Spode.

@SoTCityCouncil If you want to add another one. The chap from the vid (happened today) is asleep on the car park on Registry Street, Stoke by the red and white building.
@Regenerate_SOT@SoTCityCouncil It was rejected because it wasn’t in keeping with the industrial area. Although the bin store was going to be made out of brick and steel to mimic the main materials on the street.
Recently our application to install a secure bin store at Carlton House was rejected. Now we continue to suffer from Dumpster Divers/Fly Tippers. Mounds of opened rubbish bags emptied onto the street this morning (see last pic in the vid). @SoTCityCouncil please do something!
@Regenerate_SOT@SoTCityCouncil We trialed this and ended up with a similar issue because people lose the key and leave their rubbish at the side. We proposed a secure bin store that uses the same key fob system that we have through the property so that residents could access the store and keep others out.
@SoTCityCouncil Carlton House, Registry St, SOT, ST41JP. Planning application ref: 68721/FUL would have dealt with the issue. We proposed a secure bin store that could be accessed by all residents and business using our key card system. People shouldn’t be allowed to fly tip in the first place.
@fslconsult This is my running route at the minute! Do the gigantic camouflage warehouses fool anyone? The canal is lovely and sometimes forgotten gem of Stoke. Nature will take hold over time and hopefully some of those trees will grow and do a better job of camouflaging…
Brain drain from the city is a real issue. Great to see opportunities provided by companies based on Spode/Stoke to improve the chances of keeping talent in this city! https://t.co/dAq9hVcGYu via @withemes

Glad we are now able to get on with this without the spectre of the Nimrod plans blighting further progress.
Now we are full on Spode we hope the review of plans for the site will make available more space for createch businesses.

Happy #StPatricksDay2023 🍀. Here’s a Guinness Toucan lamp base produced by the former Carlton Ware Factory in #StokeOnTrent words around base - “How grand to be a Toucan just think what Toucan do if he can say as you can Guinness is good for you” I’ll be sampling a few later! 🍺
More new Createch jobs for Stoke Town and an update on our projects at Carlton Works & Spode where we will be launching some new accessible space with @SpodeWorks with funding from @StokeStaffsLEP.
There is huge potential for more of this at Spode.
