In a 6-1 decision, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that municipality is not required to specify the purpose for seizing property through eminent domain, and can simply acquire property for the "public good."

The case involved an attempt by Seaside Park Borough to seize a shuttered motel which was previously condemned and saw nearly 1,000 police-related calls to the property over a six year period, for all sorts of complaints including assaults, dead bodies, drug overdoses and sales, noise complaints, stolen vehicles, criminal mischief, and a counterfeit money operation.

BREAKING: Iran has completely ruled out any future negotiations with the Trump administration, declaring it will wait out Donald Trump's term until January 20, 2029, per Iranian outlets and Ghalibaf advisor's post.
