Finished the first draft my current WIP; The Haunting of Jasper Cove. Now beginning the process of rewrites in preparation for submission to my editor at the end of the month.
@realmattfalcon Not really. Tea is also acceptable as is whisky, rye, rum, or any other alcoholic beverage known to enhance creativity while simultaneously killing off brain cells. If you don't drink any of these, then, yes, you might be an anomaly. Have a great day:)
I have two markets this weekend where I'll be selling and autographing my books. As a special offer, for the purchase of a set of my historical fiction books, I'll be donating $5 to the local food bank.
I'll be selling and signing my books at the Christmas market this Saturday at the Johnny LeRoux Arena in Stittsville. I was at a bazaar last week and sold out of four of my titles.
Busy Saturday tomorrow. I'm selling/autographing my books at a market from 10:00 until 3:00pm, then I'm off to Carleton Place for the last presentation of Carleton Place Hauntings. I'm told we're sold out!
@lhallwriter I usually have 2 or 3 different writing projects on the go. If I hit a block on one, I go to one of the others. Because they're typically in a totally different genre, it's easier to keep writing. After a few days I can go back to the other work.
@ChrisDavidGill No. I tried that once and they totally ignored me. They even went so far as to change the plot on me. I've given up trying to tell them anything.
@klhicks912 I have written two series. It was not my intent to have a series, but I had requests from readers who wanted more. And yes, I did forget details......
@ChrisDavidGill It's set in a small fishing village in Prince Edward Island on Canada's east coast. The village is Jasper Cove, which is a fictions name I used in order to protect the anonymity of the actual village. The story itself is inspired by actual events.
@ChrisDavidGill I try to tell a good story to the best of my ability. Trying "to say something" runs the risk that the message becomes more important than the story. People who read are looking to be entertained, not preached to. That's my 2 cents worth:) Have a great day.
