I hate plastic water bottles but shaming everyone who uses them like theyre stupid and trying to kill the planet is just ignorant. The majority of us could do much better to avoid plastic, but for some people in this time have been given that as the only “safe” option

if you are able to avoid plastic water bottles yes absolutely do that!!! But also let’s remember the bigger issue that environmental racism/class discrimination allow for areas to have such disgusting tap water that a lot of people dont feel comfortable with just a home filter

In my house we personally use a water cooler and reuse the bottle, but we are privileged to afford that investment! If you have $10 left for the week after necessary expenses and you have no water, are you gonna save for a filter/water cooler, or buy a case of plastic??
