I'm saddened to learn that a second French @UNIFIL_ peacekeeper has died from injuries sustained in a recent attack carried out by non-state actors, presumed to be Hizbullah, in southern Lebanon.

My deepest condolences to the family, friends & colleagues of the fallen peacekeepers.

This was one of several incidents in recent weeks that have resulted in deaths & serious injuries of UNIFIL peacekeepers.
