Random tweets from a random guy. Fun and functional is the way to go. Anything I post without evidence is an educated guess at worst. Not AI Generated.
If you want to stop pain from hurting, you have to identify what’s causing it. If that doesn’t work, you’re not identifying the right source and might need help with a more complex solution.
Antitheft stores definitely interferes with impulse buys. Since there’s no way to identify us, I’ve walked past no less than five products I would buy if I didn’t have to talk to an associate first. This week.
Probably truth: storage and memory are getting expensive because they’re not driven to increase density according to Mooore’s Law, and AI workloads caught them flatfooted. We should have seen greater increases by now, and they gave up trying, choosing to ignore demand.
I'm curious how many Walmart stores that went anti-theft have gone the other direction... you know, maybe when the local idiots stop idioting because they can't idiot anymore?
If your community's layout and signs are obtuse, impossible to understand, and especially include punishment at the outset, your community is inherently hostile. It takes a minimum of two personal interactions just to be welcome. Maybe that's your goal. But wasting locals' time?
Stack Scheduling would be nice. Nothing says "we don't understand our customers" quite like making personal calendars and email addresses for station and service users which don't honor their workflows.
Idea: Give us the ability to add a secure token header to SMTP messages where a particular sender won't be allowed if they don't have the token in the message headers; Compromise is easy: if the client chooses to, the token can be rotated without notice.
Standard Contacts features can be designed to trade these tokens by default, or a shared key model could probably work... they're not going to be used anywhere but the secured SMTP connection and used to match, so wouldn't be too heavy unless the sender sends too much.
If Tesla were smart, they’d commission the other automakers to install their brain with LoRA equipment… not for control, for knowledge. Imagine pulling up to a four way intersection flashing red lights and being able to confidently navigate it.
It’s the height of delusion to believe your society is the best and anybody who graces its borders deserves your indoctrination and rehabilitation. Sometimes, there are lost causes, and you’re going to suffer until you learn this.
